Reactivating a Standing Order

Inactive Standing Orders can be reactivated from the Group Folder Standing Orders tab. Upon reactivating, you have the option to reactivate all prescriptions linked to the Standing Order. A prescription note is created for each prescription, indicating the Standing Order was reactivated.

To reactivate a Standing Order:

  1. Select to open the Batch Manager.

  2. Select the Groups tab.

  3. Highlight the group.

  4. Select Detail.

  5. Select the Standing Orders tab at the bottom.

  6. Select the Active checkbox for the Standing Order. A prompt indicates the Standing Order's name and confirms if all linked prescriptions should also be reactivated. If this is a non-retail group, choose an active Group Rx Status.

    • Select Yes to reactivate all prescriptions linked to the Standing Order.

    • Select No to reactivate the Standing Order without reactivating its linked prescriptions.
